Opening (Office) documents via Storage Access Framework Fails #10893

⚠️ Before posting ⚠️

Steps to reproduce

Use an app like Office to open an Excel spreadsheet on Nextcloud using Android's Storage Access Framework. The document doesn't open, the app itself will either crash/disappear (Excel) or revert back to the previous screen (Office). This used to work well including immediately sync'ing the document upon exiting.

Open Office Click the Folder icon in top right corner Select Browse Upper left hamburger menu/Nextcloud Browse/traverse to document Select Document Watch it crash/disappear with no error

Also, opening the document by browsing to it with the Nextcloud app would be a fine alternative and it will open the (Office) document and it is editable. The problem is upon editing it and exiting the app, it might result in it being sync'd up to the source but usually not immediately but really most times it doesn't even bother.

Expected behaviour

An external app like Office/Excel is able to open the document with Storage Access Framework, edit it and upon saving/exiting the opening app like Office, Nextcloud will immediately sync it up in the background without user intervention. This is the behavior in 3.21.2 (and prior releases).

Actual behaviour

App disappears and does not complete the action. No error is thrown.

Still an issue in 3.25.0; looking forward to when it's fixed so I can take advantage of all the features since it last worked in 3.21.2.

Today I installed Android 13 update as provided by Symsung for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE, 12,4 Zoll, 64 GB interner Speicher, 4 GB RAM, Wi-Fi

Still Secure PDF Viewer crashes as well as my very own app, https://github.com/Christedge/Notenanzeiger , as soon I attempt to import an PDF :( .

I'm still holding out hope this will be fixed!

Plus one. That would be appreciated at my end as well.
