The app spams file / server not found notifications because of auto upload with deletion #11649

⚠️ Before posting ⚠️

Steps to reproduce

  1. Set up automatic uploads for the Sounds folder with the option to remove uploaded files from the device
  2. Use the (Huawei?) phone's voice recorder to record something
  3. Wait for syncing

Expected behaviour

The files get uploaded, with or without a specific recordmode.txt file that seems to exist in a hidden backup folder.

Actual behaviour

The files get uploaded, but then a notification appears around every second stating that the server is not found. Tapping on the notification reveals that it's trying to upload recordmode.txt, failing each time. Removing the file from the queue stops the notification spam.

Sometimes it occurs with photos that have been already uploaded too.

Hi @NorbiPeti - Thanks for the report.

Do you know what the recordmode.txt file is? I guess it's something from the Huawei voice recorder?

If you can a debug log, that would be insightful: https://github.com/nextcloud/android/#getting-debug-info-via-logcat-mag
