Show config Dialog when press "back" #82

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Current behavior:

- option "Display Always that view when using this config" enabled
- enter plugin -> config dialog is shown
- choose a config, e.g. "New"
- press "back" on remote -> leave the plugin

Suggestion:

When press "back" show the config dialog instead of leaving the plugin.
I think that`s more logical if the plugin always starts with the config dialog.

I'd like to have more feedback fro mothers.
It should be easy to implement, but I am not sure, if this would be preferred
by other users.
To make sure I understood right:
When the "Display always Config Menu" you want to get the Config Menu displayed
instead of leaving the plugin.
One more "ESC"/"back" should leave the plugin.
It is not really related to "Display always that view when using this config"
imho...
You want to use it to "simulate" a main view for different views, right? That's
quite possible, but it mixes with using different catalogs. Might be better to
create a separate "main view" as container for the default and userdefined
views !?

well I am not a 'mother' though I have been called something similar sometimes
:) And I do not normally use the Config Menu. However, in testing it, I tend to
agree with Ncoh - or at least what you describe above. If you want to exit MF
you can always use the H/Home key. If you have multiple databases especially
for different users, I can see pressing Esc/Back might be easier than going to
Menu > Options > Choose DB Config.

However, as I said I am not a frequent user of the Config Dialog and I would
not want it to display with Esc unless it was enabled in Config. So would be
goodr to get more feedback from other users/testers?
