Can't join Dedicated Server #89

What did the Exception Report say (if this was on Windows)? Include Fault
Executable Name and Offset.
[There's no exception :/]. The problem is that I can't join my dedicated server
while Open Sauce is installed. I can host fine without OS installed, and have
been running my server on the same computer that I play on without issues,
after opening all ports properly.

What steps will reproduce the problem? If this happened in a command line
program, GIVE US THE COMMAND LINE ARGUMENTS YOU USED!
1. You probably can't reproduce the issue as I have no idea what's causing it.
However, to attempt, run a dedicated server, regular or OS with OS installed.
2. Preferrably, run the server on the same computer that you join on. Follow
normal -port procedures i.e. run the server on a non-default port.
3. Try to join the server.
4. Perhaps use Wi-Fi, though as I have no idea what the cause is, I can't tell
you if that would make any difference.

How many times have you been able to reproduce the issue?
5/5

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is the sight of a weapon in my character's hand as per
usual(After it loads the map properly).
Instead, while joining my dedicated server with OS installed, whether I use
OS_haloceded.exe or haloceded.exe, I see 'Loading [map]', and then immediately
"Could not join this server. There may be connection issues.".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using OS 3.1 on Halo 1.09, on Windows 8 Pro.

Please provide any additional information below. E.g. PC specs
The only hardware specification that I believe is relevant is that I'm using a
wi-fi adapter. It is the Netgear WG111v1. However, I doubt that that is the
cause.
I also posted an initial troubleshooting thread on Halomaps, before I
pin-pointed the issue to Open Sauce.

I should add that I can still join my server if I use OShaloceded.exe as long
as I don't use dinput8.dll, as with a regular dedicated server.

Also, anybody else can actually join my server, even when I use the OS version
of the dedi program. It's only myself that can't join while dinput8.dll is in
my installation directory.

Oh and I can run a non-dedi without issue, with or without OS.

It's only my dedi that I can't connect to.(which makes me think it might be an
issue with OS using the default ports but I'm not sure)

I'm having the same exact issue. I can't connect to my own dedicated server
from the same machine that's hosting it. It just says "Unable to join game
server!" Everyone else can join just fine. If I uninstall OpenSauce, then I
am able to connect to it myself just fine too. I am running Halo CE 1.09 on
Windows 8.1 Pro x64 with Opensauce 3.1.
