Just finished The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Currently reading C++ Concurrency in Action: Practical Multithreading by Anthony Williams. See also.

Mostly technical books and Science Fiction. I don't think I've ever read a science journal or publication. They feel too academic for me. Actually, I have read a bit on Andreas Gal's PhD, Henri Sivonen's Masters Thesis, and that one on Emulation...

What books would you recommend (either for work or leisure)

Ender's Game is by far my favorite book & series. Excited for book 15?: Shadows Alive , see also. Meta programming Ruby and that C++ concurrency books are good reads, too.
