WatchOS 10 - nightguard crashing

Hi, I'm using a Freestyle Libre 2 and installed nightguard on my iphone & apple Watch to have the BG reading at each 5 minutes. It was working great on the first 2-3 days, but now, the app launch on the watch, then update the last reading than crash. I don't know if I can provide any crashlog to help fin the issue (?).

I’m using the version from the AppStore. Is there a way to switch to the TestFlight version?

Ok - maybe it takes some time. It is specifically compiled for watchos 10. Could have an effect, too. Lets see😉

It still doesn't work on Apple Watch with version 10. It works briefly for a few mins and then starts to crash. Phone version works fine. Both the version from Apple store and this https://testflight.apple.com/join/Ub8WcpcE have the same crashing issue. If you uninstall from watch and reinstall it will work for a few mins before starting to crash

Yes finally, it also crash a lot. Like @mbhullar mentioned, it seem to work fine at first then start crashing. It’s only on watch, not on phone. What I see is that it seem to crash when he “catch up” the graph. Once it has all the latest data, it doesn’t crash.

Last night I updated the watch to Developer Beta 10.1. Since then I haven’t seen a crash. However I recall when I first installed Nightguard it worked for a day or two before it started to crash. Will keep you posted if this OS solves the problem.

Did you share your crashlogs? Are you using Build 3.8.2.837? Right now I see no crashlogs for Build 837.

I am for sure on 3.8.2(837), however, this is my first time using TestFlight, so a bit unsure how to share crash logs? Is it automatic or do I need to do anything? Happy to help you resolve this issue. Since last night when I upgraded to 10.1 Developer Beta I haven't observed a crash.

Normally iOS asks if you want to share a crash. But maybe this is just when crashing on the iOS Part. I have create Build 838 with a small fix. Maybe this is related to it.

I searched Google where to look for crash logs and found them, I seem to have over 100 of those, I shared one with you . Also upgraded to 838, will keep you posted if I see anything. Thx for your quick responses.

Is there a way to go back to 837? The current version doesn't show the numbers in the complication. It shows --1 unless I click on it then it shows the number and the graph. 837 with Dev Beta 10.1 worked fine for me.

Has the same issue on the Widget on the Iphone as well. Version iOS 17.1(21B5066a)

Thanks for keeping us posted.  Updated last night and the number on complication is showing up fine.  It's also showing up fine on the Widget on the iPhone. I will keep testing and report back.  Generally, I've seen an issue where it starts crashing after 1-2 days.  But so far so good, thanks for your efforts.

Only you would know I'm reporting what I see, the previous version had no issue. The crash is only iWatch. If you can give me back prev version that is great otherwise I'm going to stop using it till it's resolved.

After uninstalling and reinstalling again on iwatch and rebooting the watch it started to work again. Will report back if I see any issues.

Just letting you know 843 build is no good on the iwatch. It continues to crash. Worked for a few days and after that consistent crashes. All the previous builds had the same issue. Same symptoms.

This has nothing to do with nightguard. Seems to be a watchos issue.

I noticed this too. What helped for me was long pressing the watch face as you would do when switching the watch face.

Sometimes I had to deinstall/reinstall the watch part. Or switch to the appstore version. Them back to TestFlight.

All other complications work properly on the watch. This hasn't worked for many versions. de-installing and reinstalling works for a couple of days and then it starts to crash again. If any other user has had success please do share. Not complaining this is a free app and since I have libre data on the phone this isn't an issue otherwise.
