3 years ago I investigated this a bit more and found the following. If I uninstall version 1.95.7 and then install 1.96.3 I get the app up and running. But then when I configure it the same as I had the previous version, it won't work. I get "No address associated with hostname" and when I close the app and open it up again it will just give me a black screen.
I only set the following parameters: Connection URL, Username, Password, Use SOCKS Proxy, Proxy Host and Proxy Port. I have my tt-rss server running on an onion-address, so the Connection URL is in the form of http://example.onion/tt-rss All that worked fine in 1.95.7
The latest version (1.96.3) just gives a black screen with the logo in the middle. I have a Pixel 3a with GrapheneOS. I get the all my apps from Fdroid. Version 1.95.7 works fine. If I just downgrade from 1.96 to 1.95 the problem won't go away, I have to uninstall and then reinstall it for the app to start working again.
