The cellar database integrated with Home Assistant.

That's such a feature Do you want to manage the app using home assistant vocal commands ?

serrq commented 3 months ago

This is an idea. Refrigerators temperature control, sits with bottle presence sensor (automatically adding or remove a bottle in my cellar app database if I add or remove a bottle physically, previously registered, in a specific point), etc.

PS: I yet haven't Home Assistant, but probably soon.

ninjinskii commented 3 months ago

Ok, so the app assistant will tell my app that bottle at position x has been taken out so the app would retrieve this bottle This is a enormous feature i won't lie

I didn't properly understand your opinion. Do you like it or not?

You can find an home automation sponsor company.

Put in talk with Eve Home. They made sensors and accessories for home automation.

The automatic wine cellar is an awesome product!

It is a good idea, but also a really big investment, thats what i meant

I found a new way to "listen" a wine bottle without a sensor. Just needs of a micro transponder (nfc reader for each e-sit).

When the hardware (if) will be built the simpler way is a nfc tag with glue (sticky) to stick to the bottle.

The nfc label is writeable from your app (but it is protected by a password to avoid everyone write on it).

The nfc label is disposable, so it deads with bottle when the wine is over (trash bin).
