I have only recently began developing with Android App Inventor.
I was working through the MoleMash tutorial, and I experienced the following
issue:
I created a Procedure and named it 'MoveMole', then created a new procedure,
and renamed the first procedure to 'MoveMoleTest'. Then attempted to rename the
new procedure into 'MoveMole', however it was automatically renamed to
'MoveMole1' and then after each attempt I tried to re-type it as 'MoveMole' it
would not rename it to what I desired. It would always then get renamed such
that the number value would increment by 1.
Only after deleting the first procedure that was named as 'MoveMole' (and now
renamed to 'MoveMoleTest') was I able to rename the second procedure to
'MoveMole'.
This form is only for reporting bugs in App Inventor. Do not use it for
reporting problems with connecting to the phone or opening the Blocks
Editor. Those matters typically involve needing the right drivers, being
blocked by firewalls, or interference from other software running on your
computer. Ask about these in the group Forum:

For bugs:
Use this space to describe the issue in detail. Be sure to include:
- Steps to reproduce the problem.
- What happened.
- What you think the correct behavior should be.
Attach any material you think would be relevant to diagnosing the problem,
such as:
- The source of your app: use "download to computer" to get the source zip
file
- A screen shot
Don't forget to mention which device you have, and which version of Android
is installed on it. (Find it under Home > Menu > Settings > About
phone.)Please also tell us what Operating System your computer is running
and what browser you were using to access App Inventor.
