Add support for low-end devices if compatible #2151

Hello,

I have an HTC Wildfire (Buzz), which I know isn't one of the best Android
phones out there, but it works fine...

When I made my apps in AI, I was testing them using my Wildfire (Buzz), and
there was not a single compatibility problem.

However, as soon as my app was uploaded to the Google Play Store, the app said
it was incompatible on the left.

I have a feeling it is something to do with the screen size, because when I
scroll down in my Developer Console after clicking on one of my apps to the
Supported devices section it shows the Wildfire (Buzz) is not compatible.

I know that the app is, as I explained earlier, so can you add a feature to
allow SMALL screen layouts please?

Or maybe even a tool that allows you to select what size screens you so wish to
work, even though this may decrease some compatibility, it may also gain some
in another way. I understand that you cannot have an app that is compatible
with every single device, but it would be nice to have this feature, and I'm
sure many other people will agree with me.

You may think that this is something that wouldn't make sense to add, so maybe
a checkbox can be added saying:
- Add support for low-end devices [WARNING, SELECTING THIS FEATURE MAY DECREASE
COMPATIBILITY]
Or something like that. So if the checkbox is selected, then you can edit what
screen sizes are available, and if it is not, (which is is not by default) then
it stays how it is at the moment.

It would be great if you could get back to me as I would really like this
feature, I've tried to explain in as much detail as possible, but if you need
any more information, my e-mail is linked on all of my apps.

Try asking about this in the forum. It might be that App to Market or
Marketizer could give you a way to do this.

If not, we'll think about this some day, but not soon.

Thanks, but I have tried marketizer and it seems you need a better phone
however you configure the app in the program. :-(
