Scrolling no longer working when mac mouse fix is on on latest update of MacOS 18.1 [bug] #1162

Description

Essentially if the feature is turned on for scrolling, my mouse just wont scroll, but when I disable mac mouse fix my mouse works.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Not really sure what to write here...i guess update and try>?

Context

Mac Mouse Fix Version: 3.0.3 macOS Version: 18.1 Mouse Model: Keychron M3

I can confirm the same issue. While I do mostly scroll by using the btn5+trackball wheel, the scroll wheel doesn't scroll anymore since yesterday's update

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback! I just updated to macOS 15.1 and unfortunately (or fortunately 🤔) I can't reproduce the issue. Scrolling is working normally for me.

I don't know what might be causing the issue, but I got very similar reports after the macOS 14.6 and 14.7 updates. (You can find those reports here: https://github.com/noah-nuebling/mac-mouse-fix/labels/Scroll%20Stops%20Working%20After%20macOS%20Update)

Those guys reported that the following steps helped resolve the problem:

  • Restart the computer

@noah-nuebling yes. turning on and off helps. Thank you very much for such a great tool with a good price (compared to BetterTouch or Steermouse...).
