Back in action. Website hosting went down but working on a new site.
Any news? :)
Is there anything wrong with the current plugin? Originally the plan was to monetize with paid pro features. We have some features built out like better Autopay and Segwit.
Basically we need more from the plugin to keep investing in it. Some thoughts about donations for new features have been talked through but we want to know what ideas everybody else has.
@nomiddleman I'm excited to get segwit + autopay support #4 since more then a year. If you need money, please put a bounty tag on issues and ask for needed money amount.
I'm not a big fan of paid versions in open source projects and more of a believer of paid services. I'm experimenting myself with those bounty with the Heads open source project and established an open collective instance to receive donation and pay efforts like this.
If people knew there is a need for funds, they might answer the call. I would.

Yes, that is linked to #4 #3 and #2 which leaves to think this project is dead unless proven otherwise.
But for public yes, this project is dead unless proven otherwise (no commit, website dead for a while, no roadmap no feedback on open tickets...)
Let me know your thoughts and more importantly, your needs.
I can implement segwit ASAP. Knowing that people care about financially supporting the project means a lot. I have been wary of asking for help. I think continuing as a fully open-source project would be ideal, but donation support has been non-existent. Research and direction on ways to fund the project would be most helpful. Especially on how to make these funding options available to plug-in users. No immediate funding is necessary but some return from big stores utilizing Nomiddleman would be ideal.
Try to start with opening Open Collective, put it to Settings of plugin as well with "Please consider donation to project..." and lets see how it will work :)
I would suggest saying how much fund is needed per feature development and create issues. Do some kind of quote specifying deliverables

Segwit would be really great. Also the option to let the plugin change the status of orders that are paid for to 'completed' instead of 'processing' would be nice! Just post a BTC address for donations so we can support
@nomiddleman ping
Can this somehow be picked up again? I just tried starting to use this plugin and now am seeing that there is no more development? Is there an active fork or any plans on picking this back up?
We are not a big store, not sure if I could donate in the future, but open to the idea.

There are some smaller projects that could use some help getting added into your project without having to fork off. Mazacoin.org is trying to add options for merchants on rez but we are small group. Maza has electrum servers, we can generate mpk. Would you consider helping add mazcoin to your project. We of course can offer you maza, but there is some availability to pay from our maza community to help keep your project active. Thanks
Being a cryptocurrency related project I'm sure there are more people that would want to donate in their favorite currency. If you list a Nano address on the website I'd be happy to donate some Nano.
That said, reacting quickly to issues and pull requests would help to show that the project is alive, and is a prerequisite for motivating people to donate or making a paid version.
@nomiddleman last commit 2020. :( I stopped using the plugin ans accepting BTC altogether because of unresolved, reported issues.
Mainly #22
