Yes. Like Noto Serif CJK from Version 1.000, the Regular weight is now style-linked to the Bold weight in the Noto Sans CJK Version 2.000 (and 2.001).
The Noto Sans CJK 2.000 (and 2.001) now includes separate fonts for Hong Kong, as a second flavor of Traditional Chinese.

Could you explain "style-linked" more?
In apps that include buttons or controls for making text bold, when the selected font is Regular, and if the text is selected to be bold, the Bold font will actually be used.

Recently we update the google-noto-cjk-fonts to v2.001 for Linux distribution, and we found that some new language coverage are added.
And the "Bold" and "Regular" font style are removed from font family name in OS/2 table.
Is the above changes intentional?
