Clarifying duplicated bug response form dev team

As shown below, the duplicated report did not mention whether or not my bug report is accepted or not. May I clarify how do I determine if my duplicated bug report is accepted, deemed NotInScope or otherwise. Thank you!

@damithc Hi prof, this a follow up on the previous qns. Given the duplicate that got accepted has a higher severity than I originally declared. Would it affect my accuracy? If not, am I allowed to disagree with the duplication and claim that my severity is more suitable.

@zzibo You can, but it will be a net loss to you. The gain from the higher severity will be more than the loss from severity mismatch.

If not clear, as the bug was accepted at a higher severity, all testers who reported it will get credit at the higher severity level.
