It is odd that it is necessary to specify date + possible to specify date in the past for a user to walk some steps, since a user cannot retroactively go back and walk some more.

Hi, thanks for the input. But we thought that this feature could help the user because (s)he may want to look for information that (s)he needed to walk more or less steps on that day.
