gradle wrapper not working? #139

I am trying to compile this library myself and the gradlew doesn't work correctly anymore (seems like very old).... Here is the error messages:

is there any plan to update the gradle wrapper to the later versions?

I have no plans, this gradle build was a user contribution IIRC. Pretty much the same situation with Maven. I don't use either so for me they are just pain...
