Build mulch bed around septic lids at the back house
Trace out about 3 feed around the lids to form one large mulch bed area
Prepare the bed by removing the sod. Place dirt/sod removed into trench running down hill from the tanks. Eventually we will want to fill in this trench completely with dirt
Use Landscape Fabric to cover the dirt. Secure with fabric staples
Collect stones for the perimeter. The stones should be between the size of a grapefruit and a basketball. Place stones on fabric to enclose the area
You can use my truck to run to the home store and pickup about 5 large bags of black mulch to cover the area
Note: You will need the hand torch to cut the plastic landscape fabric. Cutting a hole in the fabric to go over the lid will be tricky. You might need to make a template out of cardboard and duct tape, or if you can lift the lid just use it by placing it on the fabric. (we can discuss when you are here)
