No sound #68

Recently installed the app on Manjaro. The app seems to be working, when i select the song the display says it's playing but there's no sound output. Although some songs play normally and some don't. I've tried all of the three sound quality options and it works the same for all of them.

I already reinstalled mpv and tidal-cli as said in others issues and installed PulseEffects as said in the issue #64 .

UPDATE: It also displays the message "Tidal error has occurred, please try again", i didn't see it before because terminal wasn't on full screen

Hmm, that's a strange issue. I know that it's kind of personal information, but could you tell me the title of one working and of one breaking the app? It would be very helpful because it would allow me to test it by myself and try to resolve it.

Sure, all the songs from the album "Honeymoon" by Lana Del Rey play perfectly fine, but any from Gojira's "From Mars to Sirius" and "The Way of All Flash" work

BaldissaraMatheus commented 5 years ago

If you need more songs for testing i can try to play a few more and check which ones work and which ones don't

I've had the same issue but I was playing on lossless and I only pay for High so switching to high solved the problem for me.

Idk if this is relevant, but I've noticed that lossless typically returns a .flac file, whereas low and high both return a rtmp stream. I haven't had any luck getting the .flac file to play.
