What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. set orientation to Automatic (full)
2. keep phone in normal portrait position
3. go to camera app

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the camera should work in a portrait or camera position. If the camera is in a
portrait position the screen is blank and the android system buttons are
invisible unless the phone is moved to a landscape position.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
most recent available Set Orientation, android 5.0.1

Please provide any additional information below.
Not sure if this happens with other phones, but this is occurring on the HTC M8
