Listary search alternative that hooks into all dialogue boxes (at least the standard ones) and finds what you want. #393
Looking for a search app like Listary that featured, search as you type and file highlighting, you just type anywhere in (almost) any application and a search bar shows up highlighting what you're looking for. Unfortunately the software is buggy and they dropped support for the regular dialogue boxes (sysviewlist32)
As such I am wondering if its possible to make something similar, perhaps with support with plugins to support the different frameworks Microsoft is always adding to search in those applications as well. (XAML for example) Theme support would be nice but not necessary.
Relevant Technology
I would think C/C++ , looking at windows for now. Mac and linux would be cool too someday,
Complexity and required time
