New Google calendar entries are always tentative #291

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Phone (Int/AT&T/etc.): AT&T
Radio: .36
CM Release (NO NIGHTLIES!): 7.1 Ba2tF
Hacks/Mods used: -
Kernel: Faux 0.2.2

What is the expected behavior?

New calendar entries should have "confirmed" as status.

What is the actual behavior?

Every time I add a new calendar entry to my Google calendar the status is
marked as tentative instead of confirmed which is especially annoying in
Thunderbird on my desktop, because those appointments have a grey color instead
of black which is harder to read.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add a new appointment to your Google calendar
2. View it with Thunderbird or as *.ics file
3.

Can you reproduce this problem after a complete wipe/factory reset? (do not
restore any apps or settings when testing)

Yes

Possible workarounds:

None

How is this a CM7 bug? Do you mean the issue is on the Android Calendar
application? (as opposed to Google Calendar - https://www.google.com/calendar/)

It didn't happen before with the stock ROM or the Alien ROM so I thought it
must be related to CM7...

I can confirm the bug with the Calendar App on Android.
