Energy distribution (energy from, calories from or per gram) #877

Calories per 100 g,
Calories from fat (per 100 g),
Calories per gram (for fat, carbohydrate and protein).

It has some more data (total fat, g and %DV; the DV).

The data is somewhat inconsistent because of rounding.

Currently, there is a "Energy from fat" nutrient, but no similar nutrients for carbohydrates and protein. There are no "energy per gram of fat/carbo/protein".

Not sure what calories per gram means. I do not get the numbers found on the product. Energy from Fat is an official US required nutrient. It has nothing to do with carbohydrates or protein.

Not sure what you want in fact.

Also, aren't calories per g/fat, calories per g/protein, calories per g/carbs fixed values?

Maybe “There are no "energy per gram of fat/carbo/protein"” was a mistake. The “per 100 g” should be about the product, I guess.
