I can't find the poritco document in following url: http://porticoproject.org/documentation/developer/. What I can see is "Sorry, this page doesn't exist. Please check the URL or go back a page." Even more, I can't find the document in the downloaded portico-2.1.0 package neither. Can somebody help me?

From this link: http://timpokorny.github.io/public/index.html, I tried following link: 1、Documentation -> For users -> Running Federates with Portico. It goes to link: http://timpokorny.github.io/public/documentation/user/gettingstarted.html. But I didn't find anything related to how to run federates with Portico. 2、Documentation -> For users -> Configure Portico It goes to link: http://timpokorny.github.io/public/documentation/user/configure.html The result is '404'. 3、Documentation -> For users -> Portico over a WAN. Yes, it works. And the content is helpful. 4、Documentation -> For users -> Performance. 404 5、Documentation -> For users -> Troubleshooting. 404 ... And most links in the documentation is 404.

Does some one have the same problem?

WBurzynski commented 2 years ago

I have same problem. Docs are nowhere to be found.

timpokorny commented 2 years ago

@WBurzynski - Unfortunately it looks like some of the supporting infrastructure that the old website was depending on has gone pop (PHP version no longer supported by host). The docs in Github under my name were started, but unfortunately never got finished. I've got some exports of some of the old documentation hanging around that I took the last time the site had the wobbles that I can provide if you want, but in its absence I'd be happy to answer any questions where I can, even if they're just general HLA questions.

WBurzynski commented 2 years ago

@timpokorny If you can send them, I'd love to see those docs.

WBurzynski commented 2 years ago

maybe for future users it might be good idea to put docs in repo.

timpokorny commented 2 years ago

OK - I've got an old website scrape of the doc site before it went down. I've put all those docs into a separate repo. They can be found here: https://github.com/openlvc/portico-oldwebsite

The old docs won't solve all of anyone's problems, but hopefully that will help!

thank you for help.
