Unable to select OA - error processing location history-RVL 1436 #1226

Version: 5.3.18 Server: TH_ preview User: bvbd_mhealth

Problem: Unable to select operational area - error processing location hierarchy.

Steps to reproduce:

Download the latest Thailand preview build Login as bvbd_health with the wrong password An error message on OAuth login error is displayed Go to settings and clear data Try logging in again but with the correct password Able to log-in but when you try and select an operational area: Error processing location hierarchy appears Retry step 5 multiple times but step 6 is what you keep getting. User is unable to progress with the flow

Also, so far the error is not happening on stage, It has passed QA on stage

@Naima-Bashir could you pls do a QA pass of the NTD Eswatini app for this bug? I have seen the exact same error message in multiple tests now. The first time, it took logging in and out five times in order to get past it. The second time, I only had to log in and out once.

Steps:

  1. Create a new plan
  2. Log into the app while online
  3. Tap the location dropdown to select school from the hierarchy
  4. Get error message that there was an error processing location hierarchy, please log out and try again - at this point you have to log out because you are blocked from doing anything else in the app (I tried waiting for all the data to sync and manually syncing everything again, but that did not help)
  5. Log back out
  6. Log back in
  7. See the same error message again

Hi @isabelcshaw This is a recurrent bug that had originally popped up in reveal thailand. @Rkareko fixed it so perhaps @rkodev can coordinate with him. It is still there, usually happens when one switches users

@Rkareko @rkodev cc @samkanga it sounds like there is a fix for this already - how do we ensure this is applied to the Eswatini build?
