Background

For Open Targets Platform, once the ETL has finished the data analysis, we use POS for the following tasks, related to the platform release process:

Create the data images that will be deployed in the platform’s infrastructure (Clickhouse and Elastic Search)
Data Synchronization:
- GCP pre-releases bucket -> EBI FTP Service
- GCP pre-releases bukcet -> GCP Production bucket (requester pays)
- BigQuery development database
- BigQuery production database

Up until now, this has been run from personal computers, with personal cloud credentials.

In order tu run this on the cloud, unattended, we need a service account for POS with the proper permissions to perform all those operations.

Tasks

Create a service account with the right collection of roles and permissions in order to perform all those operations.

Acceptance tests

When all the aforementioned operations can be run from a cloud machine using the newly created service account.
