1 year ago Was here to comment something similary, currently modding opera doesn't do a whole lot more than a simple extention, but if we had acces to the ui of the browser, and some internal operations like managing bookmarks, audio output device, where something is downloaded and manipulate it etc opera gx would truly be the best browser for costumization period. (Which i think is pretty big selling point considering the target audience)
I had an idea of being able to change the tab labels, like the color or maybe use a picture for them, or being able to change the browser to a glassmorphism one, or make the lines glow, even an animation when a tab is opened or closed.
That would be awesome to have those abilities, but I think they will take some hard work if they were even possible.
