I've notice responses indicating sync issue with Databox. Although I am not
syncing with Databox with my Droid and laptop my Mozilla Firefox is synced. The
only change is the most recent Keepass update. Perhaps that has caused conflict
with authentication between the two or it could be likely unrelated.

I creasted a DB on an Acer Iconia. Copied it to a HTC wildfire and it says
invalid password or keyfile. Done the copy twice withe same result. Any ideas?

Face it the universe is a glitchy place. Troubleshooting did not lead to fix.
Dumped application and reinstalled. Rebuilt database. Solution complexity is
beyond my skill level or willingness to devote time to solve. No problems since.

Only upgraded my keepassdroid and now I get the same insane response of invalid
password or keyfile. Is it possible that upgrade has caused password to be lost?

Tried again to log onto my keypassdroid file with the same result that password
is invalid. Then accidentally touched logon key again and keypassdroid opened
as normal. Have now tried this a couple of times and each time after second
logon touch file opens. Hopefully this helps others with similar problem to
what I had.

I'm using 1.9.18.3.
My database is synced with my PCs using DropBox. I copy the file into my SD
card on the Android phone.
I'm using Samsung SPH-D710, Android Version 4.0.4, Hardware Version D710.10
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attempt to log into established database
2.
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected result: access user database
Instead result: message "invalid password or keyfile"
I had been using the program with much joy for several months before this.

If the master password has some 'strange' characters (like '€'), KeePassDroid
1.99.7.2 fails and show "invalid password or keyfile" error.
In my case, I've created the DB with KeePassX and had to get rid of this
'strange' characters to be able to use KeePassDroid on my Android device.

It is indeed strange characters in the password that will make this happen.
This really needs to be fixed.
I had the following characters I had to remove
! @ * )
At the very least it should tell you what the problem is. It took me forever to
figure this out.

Same as #11 akov... on my Samsung S2 with Cyanogen /android 4.3.1
Had the same problem and removed character "_" ; it's OK with only alphanumeric
characters

At least make the users aware of it whether you fix it or not to help avoid
frustration. Any app that can store non alphanumeric passwords would be
expected to accept them as well which is counter-intuitive.

I can't open database in my lg vpad too, getting the error "invalid password or
keyfile". DB is created in ubuntu with keepassx and is accessible there with no
problem. I upload it to copy, download it to the tablet and that is when I get
the error message.
Important: my password doesn't include any strange characters, only letters and
numbers.
