Idfk it just don't work, and I get segmentation fault as the error.

What version of python did you build pam-python with? Was this before the howdy add command? Are you using this on a different package?

It was lightly tested working with 3.10 here with pam-python, howdy 2, and pam.d/su days ago.

If you unmask and use howdy 3, you don't need pam-python.
