As a user I want to be able to create/edit/delete users/groups/permissions ... for the public cloud I want to be able to consume this feature through standard APIs / OVHcloud Customer panel

mhurtrel commented 3 years ago

Hello @tanandy I confirm this feature is in early development at OVHcloud level, and my colleagues want to offer it accross all our product, and not only the public cloud universe. I close the ticket it because it correspon to another team that do not yet have a public GitHub backlog but let my colleague @VincentCasse who is part of that team share some details with you and take some information around your needs.

Hey @tanandy,

Indeed, I'm begins to work on IAM in OVHcloud. Do you agree to exchange with me and what you imagine in OVHcloud on theses subjects? If yes, can you send me an emain on vincent [dot] casse [at] ovhcloud.com?

tanandy commented 3 years ago

Since its closed, how can we follow progress on that topic @mhurtrel ?

tanandy commented 2 years ago

Can we reopen this one please ?

mhurtrel commented 2 years ago

Indeed was a mistake on my side to close it. I will let @VincentCasse share you the advancement on the matter

tanandy commented 2 years ago

Hi @VincentCasse any updates ? we will need also to support organization and subprojects to allow clean separation and reduce blast radius

Hello @tanandy OVHcloud IAM is officially available since last summer to allow you to define fine grained access policy to your OVHcloud project. For now access are define to the scope of a public cloud project, but we started to work on giving you to go the the instance/db/K8S/etc level.
