Calendar Selection in Tasks #487

Hi,

I'm using 4.5.6 and I can't find a easy way from the web interface to select the calendar where to add new task, so the task is always added to the first active calendar. The only way is to disable all other calendars (and I cannot disable shared calendars)

still the same with 5.0.6: there seems to be no way to select the calendar. and no config setting to set the default calendar.

I just ran into the same problem. Started to sync my tasks with the caldav sync adapter for android and the android tasks app. I wanted to use a separate calendar for this.

Syncing all calendars to the device works fine and adding new tasks to the specific calendar also works like it should. They also show up in the OC tasks web app.

creating new tasks on the web app though default to enter the tasks into the first active calendar. Whcih in my case is wrong.

A way to select the default calendar for tasks would be good.

I also had this problem, especially in combination with task apps for android that are out there. I've decided to refactor the tasks app a bit, preliminary code in https://github.com/sonologic/owncloud-atasks

This is pretty important, dear ownCloud-people. We are intending to use ownCloud for a business, with each commission having their own calendar and corresponding task list. As people participate in multiple commissions, they need to be able to create tasks in a particular commission task list.

Please give us an ETA.

@bartv2 What priority does the tasks-app have for the ownCloud project? I'm really in need of a proper task tracking system via CalDAV.
