Request: menu-bar-only app #9

I'm looking at the code in Xcode; perhaps I'll be able to contribute to this. However, wanted to put this out there.

My favorite note-taking app is Notefile by JuneCloud, except of course for the fact that it doesn't allow me to own my own content.The handy bit about it is that it sits in the menu bar, so that it's always immediately accessible. It's otherwise very simple (which I consider a feature). But it's that menu bar feature that keeps me using Notefile, even though I've been making it a point to put things into Owncloud Notes.

As I'm looking through the CloudNotes project, I'm also looking at https://nsrover.wordpress.com/2014/10/10/creating-a-os-x-menubar-only-app/ which makes it appear (relatively) straightforward to add this feature. So hopefully not something with prohibitive development hurdles.

Side note: today I installed Fluid and added the OwnCloud web interface for Notes into my menu bar. That has scratched my itch for the moment, but of course a native app would be superior.

I think it would be great if you can add the menu bar functionality to CloudNotes.

Well, this is a totally different kind of development than that which I do, but i'll give a stab at it. Expect I might have a question or three.
