I use Evernote Vertical View and my brain has decided that everything in my top panel is a folder and that everything in the bottom panel is a file and any deviation from such is causing it distress. In order to access my folder notes, I have to go to the folder panel and shift-click on a folder, which is frustrating because I usually end up searching for the folder note in file view anyways if I forget that I've set it as a folder note.
Suggestion 1: Show folder note in file view as a regular note
Simplest method. Maybe it can have an icon to distinguish it as a folder note.
Suggestion 2: Show page icon next to folder name in file view, allow clicking on folder name or shift+clicking it to open the folder note
Suggestion 3: Both methods, but folder note is greyed out (but still able to be clicked) to give a hint that you should be clicking the folder name - maybe showing the note name could also be an optional toggle?
