Background

The purchase and outfitting of a van / utility truck, useful as a mobile "hacking" platform.

• Mobile supply / assist platform for workshops and hackathons
• Expands location possibilities for hackathons / meetups
• Demos / research re: mobile sensing
• Demos / research re: mobile power supply -- solar, mechanical, fuel cell
• Demos / research re: "Green Latrine" technology, as per those being designed for developing world sanitation problems
• Allows for overnight travel to meet-ups

• Demonstrate Wardriving and other signal interception to raise awareness about digital security.
• Map wireless signal strength in the Pioneer Valley, across multiple common spectra and carriers.

Oh wow -- this is a great idea -- we should talk to Steve Brewer from the Bio dept about this -- he'd know local folks who'd be up for it
