Oops. Meant v1.3.0.2. Sorry.
The issue above is that when the keyboard (Gboard) is called for the first time after boot, Google wants to download related files. So that probably means the "Ignore system apps" setting isn't working. Logging is turned on but see no logs generated anywhere. Settings may not be working in general.
Here's a logcat just in case.

App filters and ignore system app are using the same method which probably have some problems. I am still trying to find a new way for it. You can use link filter instead.
Logging is actually working on my phone. Maybe i can check your logcat later. \= I didn't find any log related to xposed, is it the logcat from the xposed installer?
Ah, sorry. That was a general Android log captured with Logcat Extreme. I'll do some more testing on my next day off. Never tried the link filter before. Will try that also.
I've used this module mostly for the TeamBlackOut updater app, BTW.
Wow, time flies. Haven't tried the module on Nougat since October. Found myself in need of it again. The aforementioned TeamBlackOut updater app will not download anything on two microG-based ROMs so I decided to revisit this module.
Much to my surprise it works just fine. All of the issues from before are not present. Was using unofficial v87 Xposed by PurifyOS back then. Now on v89 official via UNITY installer. AospExtended N ROM.
I will test the module with other Xposed & ROM combos.
Version 1.3.0.2. Works just fine for me in the following...
Device: ZTE Axon 7 A2017U. ROM 1: ZTE stock B32, Android 7.1.1, Xposed v88.2 official (UNITY installer, classic / system), SuperSU. ROM 2: AospExtended v4.6, Android 7.1.2, microG, Xposed v89 official (UNITY installer, classic / system), SuperSU.
Oh my. I completely forgot I left this open. Should've been closed two years ago. Sorry.
Edit: Uh oh. Forgot I had a different login back then (wilmarcdw). Can't close it. Maybe the Dev can?
The latest version is working on Nougat. However, the module activates when I enter a text input field (a web search, messaging app, etc.).
First I get a vibration. Two "Open With..." dialogs (for browsers) will activate. Then two ADMPro download dialogs popup. Once I back out of or cancel them I can continue on.
Doesn't happen every single time I enter a text field. Does this maybe once after each boot. I'll have to pay more attention to check for a pattern.
Use with system apps is disabled. I use the App whitelist for use with only one app. The only purpose I've used the module for since its first release (excellent, btw).
