HP Mini 110, 10.6.5, sleep doesn't work #323

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Sleep, either with clamshell or Apple menu.

What netbook are you using this on?
HP Mini 110/1101

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Attempts to sleep then wakes itself within 1 second.  Screen remains  black, no 
response.  Computer works on restart.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Snow Leopard 10.6.5, NBI 0.8.4RC1: Netbook Installer 20101127091350

Please provide any additional information below.
LidSLeep and SleepEnabler ktext do not appear to help.
