Feature Request: Custom domain names #56

It would be ideal for the ability to provide custom domain names for one or more sites in Localdev, which Lando already provides (https://docs.lando.dev/config/proxy.html#configuration). This would benefit users requiring specific domains, e.g. for SSO callback which requires *.companysite.com.

I'm not sure about the UX around this but as @twfahey1 points out this is already something that localdev could do

@twfahey1 submitted this request on my behalf. @pirog At the moment, it seems that it is supported by lando (which we got working with a native lando setup), but since Localdev does not expose the lando configuration it uses, it's not currently possible with the Localdev app/UI.

Circling back around to this but right now the recommendation is to just use Lando if you need those features. As a result we dont currently have plans to support this. We will, however, put the issue in cold storage so we can revisit at a future date.
