Publication to official grav repositories? #1

Hey, are you planning to get the plugin published to the official grav repositories and/or still using/maintaining it?

I’m currently working on a theme where I will recommend including this plugin.

So if you’d still maintain it etc. I’ll PR my changes - if not, I’d work in my fork and get that one published to the official repos.

Hey,

Sorry for taking so long to reach back! I'm actually surprised someone is using this. Personally, i've quit grav in favor of actually-static site generators such as Hugo and Zola but I do see the point of using Grav for many organizations where publishers are not tech gurus mastering their git-fu.

So i can see several possibilities for the future of this "socialmeta" thing:

In any case, i'm willing to help out as i can whether it's on a forked repository or here. But if you have any feedback on what direction you'd like to follow, that would be great to turn automatic metadata generation (via microformats2, twitter cards and ogp) into a very standard and common practice on the web (or is it already nowadays?).

It's actually possible that in the coming months i deploy some Grav setup again and therefore start using this plugin again. i'll keep you (and this plugins!) updated if that's the case :)

Oh, thanks for coming back to that :)

I indeed have non-technical content curators and am therefore very happy with grav.

In the meantime, I found the great SEO plugin that already has frontend integration for all the current standards (including microdata) which I am now using for this use case.

Thanks for your time though!

Glad you found something that suits your needs! It sure did not exist when i came up with this simple hacky plugin :)
