SimpleViewerExampleQt.exe gives: Error: ReaderSTEP::readData, Unsupported IFC version: Warning: UnitConverter::getLengthInMeterFactor, No length unit definition found in model Warning: UnitConverter::getLengthInMeterFactor, No length unit definition found in model File loaded: 0 entities in 0.12 sec.

neither solibri or Dialux-evo opens the ifc?

Thanks for testing :)

I use Bernd repository branch which compiled on Linux and it show the Villa Savoye model FC Discussion

And there is discussion about IFC Exporting / Viewing for the model FC Discussion

I have also used BIMserver/BIMsurfer which is ok too.

I do not have solibri or Dialux-evo to test.

See if you can report the problem in about FC discussion so IFC Export in FreeCAD can be improved ? ( maybe solibri or Dialux-evo )
