Hi Pepijn,

I was very excited when i discoverd your nefit easy node. :-) But when i try to use it, Node Red generates an error. I'm very sure that i use the right credentials. Is there an issue with the node?

The error i get is : "Nefit initialization : XMPP authentication failure"

I hope youcan help me to get the node running.

Only required change would be to upgrade nefit-easy-commands to its latest version. The Nefit backend changed authentication protocols a while ago.

Thanks Robert, That did the job. Very usefull info.

Because there was no response, I decided to fork the repository and created an updated version. Also in this version I added documentation and new features such as the ability to enable/disable fireplace mode. https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-nefit-easy2

Hi, I am new with Node Red, for a school project they asked me to connect te Bosch easy control ct200 with Node Red or Ignition from inductive automation. i download the Node-Red-contrib-nefit-easy2. (the thermostat is the Nefit Topline) and filled in the Serial number, access code and password. the right way but i still can't connect with the follow error, Nefit initialization : XMPP authentication failure Nefit Easy Client disconnected from the Bosch backend.

has anyone a solution for this?

kind regrats,

@LucSieben from what I know, the CT200 isn't supported yet, at least not by any of my modules (node-red-contrib-nefit-easy2 uses one of them). There's a discussion running on https://github.com/robertklep/bosch-xmpp/issues/4 about it.

Perhaps you ask your mentor/teacher if they can elaborate on how you're supposed to connect to the device.
