Description
A smaller (not taking up two whole blocks) and better looking replacement for an encased chain drive which is shorter (two to five blocks) and only transfers power between its ends, but takes up no extra block space (is integrated into the same block it transfers power between. Like a transmission belt on a car. I know I could use a normal belt but it just looks silly and takes up as much space as the ECD.
Edit: I guess what I'm asking for is to remove the casing from the encased chain drive, make a regular chain drive and save some space doing that.
Mock up:
Problem This Addresses
The ECD is fugly, takes up an entire block or more, and has no cool animations. It's very clunky to use if just connecting e.g. a straight belt to a diagonal belt, or in some other applications. It has its uses with the twists it allows though
