Backend postgres databases showing "waiting" #25

I have been testing my failover code and have got to a situation where both backend postgres databases continue to show "waiting" so I cannot access either via the virtual ip. I was logging connections and see all 3 pgpool servers hitting the database (assume it is the heartbeat) and can access both databases locally but don't know how to get things working again. Thanks for any ideas or how to further debug this. Randy

Could you try to restart Pgpool-II?
