Yes, it should work on iPad. However, we are currently investigating reported
issues with Chromecast on iOS and will keep you updated. In the meantime, you
may be able to find help on the Chromecast online forum:

Can you explain how you're trying to cast from Chrome? Are you also seeing an
issue when you try to cast from apps such as YouTube, Pandora, Netflix, etc.
directly?

If you're still seeing the issue, please provide the requested information. Can
you try deleting the Chromecast App from your device and install the latest
version from the App Store?

I think you might be misunderstanding my question. Netflix, YouTube, and other
apps work. But I cannot take video off the web in any browser and "cast" it to
the chromecast. I have tried using the Chrome browser, but the add on app for
the cast doesn't work on my iPad.

Please note that only mobile sites that have added Cast support for iOS will
allow you to cast content from iOS Chrome to your Chromecast device.
