moto one 5G ace cellular issues #2078

I recently just unlocked my moto one 5G ace. I wanted to try out android 12 but ran into many issues. Let me explain what happened

(not important part) First, I tried the official android 12 beta gsi. I did not have space to install it, so I deleted the product_a partition and installed it. It kept bootlooping. Once I flashed a different vbmeta, it booted. It however refused to connect to cellular.

I decided I would try the phussson android 12 gsi instead. I reinstalled stock android 11 and did the same steps to install the phhusson gsi (deleting product_a and installing the gsi to system_a). I faced the same bootloop which was fixed again by a different vbmeta and booted into android 12. After going through googles OOBE. I am faced by the same cellular problem. As I try to fix it, it becomes worse...

The problem starts by the cellular icon showing an ! next to it and it saying Verizon (unavailable). This is wrong because I am using Xfinity mobile, not Verizon.

The first step I take to change the preferred network type. I changed it to LTE/GMS/UMTS which for the first time actually gets it a signal and allows me to use data, however it still says Verizon and I am unable to call or text.

I then try changing it to LTE/CDMA and it picks it up as Xfinity mobile. I confirm the apn settings are correct and have full mobile data, however still no calling or texting

I then find this section in phh settings called ims (volte). My friend recommended I try that, and thats when things get a whole lot worse.

I install the ims apk and it asks me to reboot, but when I reboot, it said no sim card. I went to the network settings and it read (Xfinity mobile: tap to activate sim card). I tapped it a couple of times but nothing happened. Confused, I pulled out the sim card and reinserted it, and it never detected the sim card again.

After multiple times of recovering the stock firmware and flashing the gsi, it would refuse to detect a sim card. However, on the stock Motorola firmware, it worked perfectly. All calling, cellular, and texting functions were available. But no matter what now, the gsi refuses to read any sim card

So what do I do to make it work. Is this a bug or am I just dumb. It's also worth noting this is a 5G phone, and there was no 5G on any of the GSIs I used.

I'll attach photos for reference (Had to remove because it had my wifi name (which is my address)

I found some additional info and I feel it will be much easier to just create a new ticket so I'm closing this one
