Set-up code style rules & PHPStorm ruleset #11

Do we want to consider adding the .idea folder version control? https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/help/synchronizing-and-sharing-settings.html#d1421736e270

I've never done this, and I'm only really happy to do so if others have had a good experience, or rather are actively keen on this. What are your views?

Not sure, given that we will all have our own preferred set-ups for PHPStorm. I also tried adding it to one of my work projects once and it caused problems with stuff (can't be more specific as I don't remember the precise issue!).

Agreed, the link above documents which bits need ignoring. e.g.:

except the workspace.xml and tasks.xml files, which store user-specific settings
