Pi node version number 0.4.5 upgrade and i need General instruction and info #354

Hello friends Pioneers, I am not a dev and i need your help . Thank you in advanced. I have attached the screenshots.

  1. How can upgrade Pi Node with the latest version. Can;t find it.
  2. Why in the 1st page says "Your computer is starting up the blockchain" and not Runnong ?
  3. Why PortChecker container is absent ?
  4. State : other says Catching Up and sometimes Joining SCP
  5. Protocol version Not latest
  6. Latest block, N/A
  7. Incoming 0
  8. Supporting other nodes No
  9. Docker images. Should i run them or not ?
  10. Open Ports 31401,31402,31403 latency 36ms is this Good ?
  11. Other ports are closed

Hope it will help. PS. Do also Windows update and cmd.exe "wls --update" command (with admin rights) for best results.

Dear Stepan, Thanks for your support . I hope i find you well. Please i have downloaded everything again... it seems it it working ok, but, the Pi Consensus container it disappeared, and now i have only the stellar dummy. What i have to do to get also the pi-consensus ? And second is the node running also like this or not ?

Do you need some screenshots ?

  • Download new installation package from minepi.com (actual version 0.4.11). Turn of Pi node switch to off. Close Pi node app. Run new installation package. All will be done automatically. After that, node app will start by its own. Turn on node switch Why in the 1st page says "Your computer is starting up the blockchain" and not Runnong ?

    • You are running Docker version 4.29.0, its not working fine with node version 0.4.5. After update, it will be ok. If not (in few hours) go to troubleshooting menu in Pi node, remove container data and start node by button again. Last working docker version for Pi node 0.4.5 is Docker 4.20.1. Why PortChecker container is absent ?
    • Same as previous answer State : other says Catching Up and sometimes Joining SCP Protocol version Not latest Latest block, N/A Incoming 0 Supporting other nodes No Docker images. Should i run them or not ?
    • You dont need to run them manually, Pi node app will handle it after upgrade.

Open Ports 31401,31402,31403 latency 36ms is this Good ? Other ports are closed

  • Yes, its totally fine. Pi node using only 31401-31403 ports now.

Hi, can you upload screenshots of actual state: Docker Images Docker Containers Pi node - switch screen Pi node troubleshooting screen?

usefull info can be found in C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Roaming\Pi Network\logs\main.log

Port checker container is downloaded only when you test your ports, and it will run only during the test. Containers cannot run together, because they use same port range. Normal state is Pi consensus container running and Port checker container is off.
