I'm using iso4 to guess the journal abbreviations, but that is not working for many reasons:
The title does not match the abbreviation (for some reason),
I assume English language, which is ... Sometimes wrong,
iso4 is not free of errors (the A of part A disappear, for example), since the rules are quite complex (see section 7 of the manual).
And the basic issue here is that it is not easy to retrieve abbreviated titles from the providers ! (in most cases, it is not given)
The first point is "historical", there is not much we can do. The two others requires either manual correction (see #6) or a better implementation of the ISO 4 standard.
