First step towards register docs #7

Adds markdown files with (very basic) register descriptions

What do you think about placing the documentation here instead? Is it inherently tied to the RE efforts or would it be useful in general? Because both options are fine to me personally, but @gamelaster might want to chime in as well about what should be the approach taken.
