Can we confirm that this addition will work on a url other than localhost? I do not want to push to main branch until I am sure this is the case...

I am going to merge this pull request, so we can attempt this with a new post on the actual site and see if the discord bot message appears correctly. If it does not, I will revert the changes in this pull request. The moment of truth!
