Post Format Gallery isn't showing the Featured Image anymore #258

We recently updated the content on our demo sites with themes compatible with Gutenberg. On the Patch theme, we have a Post Format Gallery that used to show the featured image of the gallery on the Archive. That worked with the Classic editor, but it's not working anymore with Gutenberg.
