Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I put in my gmail passwork
2. I click GRANT ACCESS
3. A Text Message window pops up and nothing happens

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
To connect with my Gmail to backup, nothing, fails to connect.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SMS Backup+ I had the SMS Backup on my other Android Phone and downloaded this
one for my new one.

Please provide any additional information below.
I didn't have this issue with the last phone I had, am I doing something wrong?

Same issue! Can't get past the "Grant Access" because it just takes me to the
text messaging app. I need to back up my texts! Like yesterday!

Had the same problem, it worked on my other phone but not this one. Here is
what I did to solve it.
1) Make sure IMAP is enabled on your gmail account.
2) Go into advanced settings, and click Authentication. Chose plain text.
3) Go to the "Your IMAP account/e-mail address" and enter your info. I did NOT
put the @gmail.com on my account name
4) Go to the "Password" and enter your g-mail password

That worked for me. Your results may vary.
